The fees payable to part-time teachers of adult education courses with effect from 1 September 1979 are as follows: Category I, £4.10 per hour; Category II, £5.35 per hour; Category III, £6.52 per hour.
Where a part-time teacher conducts day courses in more than one centre, a mileage allowance in respect of the use of his own car may be paid as follows in respect of authorised journey between the schools to which he is assigned— Car under 10 hp, 16.6p per mile; Car 10 hp and under 12 hp, 19.2p per mile; Car 12 hp and over, 22.0p per mile.
