I have sanctioned the acceptance of tenders for Charleville sewerage scheme and the raising of a loan by Cork County Council to finance it.
Preliminary proposals for the Churchtown sewerage scheme are under consideration in my Department. Having regard to its high unit cost and the need to conserve capital for the schemes of highest priority, I cannot say when the further planning of this scheme may proceed.
