Vol. 317 No. 6

Written Answers. - Living Alone Allowance.

343.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he is aware that some post offices are experiencing delays of up to nine weeks in receiving claim forms for living alone allowance for old age pensioners from his Department and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware that delays have been experienced in making supplies of this form available and I have taken immediate action to remedy the situation.
