Vol. 317 No. 9

Written Answers. - Tipperary Health Service.

190.

asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for a dispensary or a community health service centre in Tipperary town, and his proposals to provide the facility.

The health centre in Tipperary, which was damaged by fire last June, is being repaired and will be ready for use again before the end of the year.

The South Eastern Health Board are considering proposals for a new and bigger health centre in the town on a site being allocated by the urban district council. The health board hope to be in a position to submit proposals for this project to my Department in the near future.
