As stated in reply to a question by the Deputy on 23 October, RTE say that satisfactory reception of Radio na Gaeltachta should be possible on VHF in those parts of County Mayo where medium wave reception is less than adequate. RTE have made no request to my Department for additional frequencies for the receiption of Radio na Gaeltachta in County Mayo or any part of the country.
