An official communication was addressed to the chairman of the board of management of Straide national school on 13 September 1979 in connection with the question of the continuance of the school transport service after Easter 1980 in the light of the number of pupils eligible for transport. I may say, however, that the matter is subject to review in January 1980 and that no final decision has been taken to terminate the service. Accordingly, the question of giving reasons for such termination does not arise.
