Vol. 318 No. 1

Written Answers. - Laws of Ireland Availability.

488.

asked the Minister for Finance the steps, if any, he proposes to take to ensure the immediate availability of all the laws of Ireland to persons who are prepared to pay the appointed price for them.

In all cases, the texts of Bills as passed by both Houses of the Oireachtas and signed by the President are published immediately, and held for sale to members of the public by the Stationery Office. Every Act, once printed, is kept in print in perpetuity. Any Act not immediately available due, for example, to the rapid depletion of stocks through unforeseen demand, is made available within a matter of weeks.
