Vol. 318 No. 9

Written Answers. - Cavan Land Commission Office.

72.

(Cavan-Monaghan) asked the Minister for Agriculture the present number of inspectors attached to the Land Commission Office in Cavan to serve the counties of Cavan and Monaghan and the highest number of staff employed there at any time.

There are five inspectors at present employed in the Cavan office. Two further inspectors are due for assignment there when a number of additional staff now being recruited through the Civil Service Commission become available making a total of seven.

The highest number of inspectors employed at the Cavan office was in 1976-77 when for a very short period a total of eight inspectors were employed.
