asked the Minister for Education the location in County Meath of the five new national schools and three new vocational schools which have been approved by his Department, the date of the approval and the stage reached in the erection of each of the schools.

The information requested in relation to primary school building projects is as follows:

Grant sanctioned August 1979. Tenders under construction.

Trim, Boys

Approved in principle January 1974. Site offered October 1979. Awaiting inspection by O.P.W.

Ashbourne

Approval in principle May 1979. School authorities invited on 1 June 1979 to obtain suitable site.

Kilcloon

Approved in principle May 1978. Sketchplans prepared July 1979. A reply is awaited from the Rev. Chairman of the board of management concerning title to the site.

Nobber

Approval in principle may 1976. Sketchplans are under considera- tion. Question of title is being taken up with Rev. Chairman.

The following is the information requested in relation to the three new vocational schools in County Meath which have been approved by my Department.
