Vol. 320 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dangerous County Waterford Junction.

232.

asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the dangerous condition of the junction at the old Kilmeaden station road and the Kilmeaden to Portlaw road in County Waterford and if steps will be taken to make that road junction safe for motorists and pedestrians.

I have had no representations in this matter. The financing of any road improvement works at the location in question, which the road authority might consider necessary, is appropriate to the council's own resources, supplemented by the general or block grant provided annually from my Department's Vote.
