For the school year 1978-79 the rate of grant was £10 per pupil. A special additional payment of £1 per pupil was made at the end of 1979 to compensate for increased fuel costs.
For 1979-80 the grant is £11 per pupil.
The rate of grant in respect of the school year 1980-81 has not yet been determined.
