asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an application from Donegal County Council for additional subvention towards the cost of the Ballylin-Malin group water supply scheme, if so, if he will sympathetically consider the matter and give an early decision in view of the urgent need in the area.

A recemmendation for the payment of an additional special contribution of £7,000 for increased pump sizes and headworks was made by my Department to Donegal County Council on 15 April 1980. The council's decision on this recommendation is awaited.
