asked the Minister for Defence the date the last Easter military parade took place, and the units involved.

The last military parade at Easter was held in 1971. The following units and detachments of the Defence Forces participated in that parade: 20th Infantry Battalion, Rangers, Naval Service, 2nd Garrison Military Police Corps, Cadets and Apprentices, 2nd Motor Squadron, 1st Armoured Squadron, 2nd Field Artillery Regiment, Detachments from the Corps of Engineers and from the Signals and Supply and Transport Corps, Detachments from the FCA, Slua Muiri and Civil Defence, No. 1 Army Band, Pipe Bands from the Southern, Western and Eastern Commands, Air Corps Flying Wing.
