Vol. 321 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cattle Headage Grant.

57.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if his attention has been drawn to the situation whereby a person (details supplied) in County Donegal has not been paid a cattle headage grant due to his application being lost in the post and the action he proposes to take in the matter.

No application was received in my Department from this herdowner under the 1979 EEC Cattle Headage Payments Scheme. The period for receipt of applications expired last September and herd inspections were completed by the end of November. In the circumstances there is no action I can take in relation to this case.

The remaining questions will appear on tomorrow's Order Paper.

I wish to raise on the Adjournment the subject matter of Question No. 37.

I will communicate with the Deputy.
