The Castletownshend water supply scheme must be considered in the context of the capital resources available to finance the sanitary services programme, the number of schemes already approved and in construction, and the need to conserve available capital for schemes of the highest priority. I am not at present in a position to indicate when a decision on the contract documents for this scheme can be conveyed to the local authority.
