Vol. 322 No. 9

Written Answers. - Boyne Drainage Scheme.

424.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to carry out work on the Owenvarra river scheduled under the Boyne Drainage Scheme which enters the sea at Crook Street, Mornington, County Meath, and flows through St. Nicholas village: and (a) the date of commencement and (b) the approximate date of completion.

A review of drainage proposals for the area in question is necessary because of extensive development work in the area. At this stage it is not possible to say what decision may emerge from the review.
