asked the Minister for Agriculture (a) the amount of lime used each year since 1972, (b) the cost to the farmer of lime delivered per ton in the same period, (c) the subsidy paid by the Government per ton on lime in each year and (d) the total cost to the Exchequer of the subsidy on lime each year for this period.
