Following is the statement:

5. The Committee on Emigrants' Services

The committee was established in October 1969. Its terms of reference are to advise on the facilities which should be provided for emigrants wishing to return to promote the welfare of Irish workers proposing to emigrate in search of employment.

The State grant for the committee for 1980 is £32,000

(Note: This statement refers only to standing bodies of an advisory nature. It does not cover temporary bodies set up to advise the Minister on specific matters or bodies which have advisory functions ancillary to their main activities).
