Vol. 323 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions . Oral Answers . - Glasthule (Dublin) National School Finances .

40.

asked the Minister for Education if he has received representations from the chairman of the board of management, Harold's boys national school, Glasthule, County Dublin, concerning the need for extra money arising out of the increase in the cost of fuels, cleaning materials and equipment, and the action he proposes to take in the matter.

: Representations have been made to me on behalf of the chairman of the board of management, Reverend John J. Meagher, PP, Harold's boys national school, Glasthule, in this matter.

The amount of the capitation grant for national schools is reviewed annually in the context of the preparation of my Department's Estimates for the following financial year. I am not in a position to state at present what the rate of the grant may be in 1981.
