Bord na Móna premises coming within the scope of the Factories Act, 1955, and comprising factories, workshops and warehouses were visited on 20 occasions in 1977, 23 occasions in 1978 and 28 occasions in 1979.
Inspections are not carried out under any provisions of the Safety in Industry Act as that Act has not yet come into force.
