asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a reconstruction grant will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; and the reason for the delay in sending out an inspector taking into account that the family are living in the extension for over a year.

My Department was notified only on 11 November 1980 that the work in this case was completed. The grant will be paid when an inspection confirms that the work has been satisfactorily completed. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the outstanding balance of a reconstruction grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

The balance of the grant will be paid when a final inspection confirms that the works have been satisfactorily completed and that payment is in order. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.
