Vol. 324 No. 7

Written Answers. - Boatyard Finances.

363.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the amount of mortgage debenture and general charge in favour of BIM that is registered against the boatyards at (a) Dingle, (b) Baltimore and (c) Killybegs; and when same were registered.

The total amount of mortgage debenture and general charge in favour of An Bord Iascaigh Mhara and registered or to be registered against the three boatyards at Baltimore, Dingle and Killybegs is £519,000. Registration has not yet taken place in respect of Baltimore and Killybegs, and in the meantime the board continues to be the registered owner. In the case of Dingle, registration took place on 13 December 1979. It is not the practice to give details of financial arrangements with private individuals or companies.
