An application for a reconstruction grant made in September 1965 by the late husband of the person named was cancelled in 1975 in view of the long period that had elapsed without notification of completion of the works. Work on the installation of a water supply and sewerage facilities has been satisfactorily completed and a statutory declaration from the next of kin of the deceased applicant agreeing to the payment of the grant of £75 to his widow was recently furnished to my Department. The grant will be paid as soon as possible.
