Vol. 325 No. 5

Written Answers. - Clondalkin (Dublin) Sub-Post Office.

375.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the extreme inconvenience caused by the absence of a sub-post office in the area of Clondalkin North including Ronanstown, Rowlagh, Neilstown, Moorefield and St. Mark's, County Dublin; how close the nearest sub-post offices are to these areas; and how soon a sub-post office will be provided.

It is the intention to establish a sub-post office to cater for the areas mentioned by the Deputy provided a suitable candidate with satisfactory premises in a central location is forthcoming when the position of postmaster/postmistress is advertised early next year. The areas concerned are 1.2 to 1.8 miles radial distance from the nearest sub-post office, that is, Clondalkin.
