Vol. 325 No. 6

Written Answers. - Income Tax Rebate.

45.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason a rebate of income tax has not been paid to date to a husband and wife (details supplied) in County Cork.

The inspector of taxes is not in a position to proceed with the calculation of the amount of the rebate of income tax in their case until he receives a reply to a letter which he sent to the accountants on 22 August 1980 following the receipt from them of uncertified accounts. It is understood that the accountants hope to be in a position to furnish the information required by the inspector at an early date.
