asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the building of a new primary school at Nicker, Pallasgreen, County Limerick; and when work is likely to commence.

The chairman of the board of management of Nicker national school has requested that a new school be built, and the question is under consideration. A decision will be reached as quickly as possible.

67.

asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to provide a new post-primary school in the Castletroy-Monaleen area of County Limerick; and, if so, when work is likely to commence.

It is my intention to provide a second-level school in the Castletroy-Monaleen area of County Limerick when it is required, but it is not possible at this stage to indicate when that situation will arise.
