Written Answers. - Disadvantaged Electoral Divisions.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will indicate the additional areas proposed for inclusion in the disadvantaged electoral divisions.

Under the adjustments to the boundaries of the Disadvantaged Areas announced recently the following District Electoral Divisions have been added:

(A) The inclusion of the following DEDs in the Disadvantaged Areas and their classification as More Severely Handicapped for purposes of the Cattle Headage Payments Scheme:

Slieve Felim Area: The DEDs of Doon West and Glenstal in Limerick No. 1 Rural District and the DED of Bilboa in Tipperary No. 2 Rural District; the DEDs of Abington, Dolla, Killoscully, Kilnarath, Lackagh and Templederry in Nenagh Rural District and the DEDs of Foilnaman and Upperchurch in Thurles Rural District; the DEDs of Curraheen and Glengar in Tipperary No. 1 Rural District;

County Limerick (West): The DEDs of Dunmoylan West and Mohernagh in Rathkeale Rural District and the DED of Templeglentan in Newcastle Rural District.

(B) The designation of mountain sheep grazing lands in the following DEDs as Disadvantaged:

County Carlow: The DEDs of Killedmond in Carlow Rural District and the DED of Kyle in Idrone Rural District;

County Kilkenny: The DEDs of Coolhill, Freaghana, Graiguenamanagh and Inistioge in Thomastown Rural District;

County Tipperary: The DED of Garrangibbon in Carrick-on-Suir No. 1 Rural District;

County Waterford: The DED of Clonea (Power) in Carrick-on-Suir No. 2 Rural District; the DED of Clonea in Dungarvan Rural District; and the DEDs of Fews and Mountkennedy in Kilmacthomas Rural District.
