With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I propose to take Questions Nos. 30 and 31 together.
Discussions have been held with representatives of the unions concerned and with representatives of the employers on all aspects of the Night Work (Bakeries) Act, 1936, and I intend to introduce legislation shortly to amend the Act so as to permit the licensing of baking at night.
