Committee of Selection: Fifteenth Report.

The Committee of Selection reports that it has nominated the following Members to serve on the Committee of Public Accounts on the Appropriation Accounts for the year ended 31 December, 1979:

Deputies Niall Andrews, Luke Belton, Clement Coughlan, Eddie Filgate, John Horgan, William Kenneally, Terry Leyden, P. J. Morley, Fergus O'Brien, Rory O'Hanlon, Seamus Pattison and Godfrey Timmins;

and that it has discharged Deputy Michael Smith (Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture) from the Joint Committee on the Secondary Legislation of the European Communities and has appointed Deputy Clement Coughlan in substitution for him.

I move: That the Report be laid before the Dáil.

With the permission of the Chair I should like to raise on the adjournment the subject matter of my Private Notice Question of today dealing with the petrol dispute.
