Vol. 327 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order, Nos. 6 (resumed), 7 (resumed), 8 and 9 (resumed). Private Members' Business will be taken from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.. No. 16 (resumed).

There was a type of white paper on education produced by the Government last December. Is it the Taoiseach's intention to allow Government time for a discussion on it?

If the Opposition so request. I will consider that request.

I will contact my Whip.

When does the Taoiseach expect the report on the Buttevant train disaster to be issued?

The Deputy should put that down as a question.

I expect the report to be available in March.

Would the Taoiseach explain why the Minister of State at the Department of Finance, who was in the House yesterday, did not come in to answer the Finance questions?

That has nothing to do with the Order of Business.

What is he being paid a salary for? Why was he hiding in the restaurant yesterday?

That has nothing whatsoever to do with the Order of Business.

We are paying his salary. The quality of the Minister of State is a national disgrace.

I give notice that I wish to raise on the adjournment the subject matter of Question No. 72 on today's Order Paper.

I will communicate with the Deputy.

I want to include apples as well as vegetables, not apples from Ballyporeen, just apples.

I will communicate with the Deputy.

(Interruptions.)
