The extension of Maree national school to give three classrooms and a general purposes room was approved in principle in March 1980.
The Commissioners of Public Works have recently submitted a feasibility report which indicates that an extension of the site is required to accommodate the extra buildings. The rev, chairman of the board of management has been informed as to the situation so that he may take the necessary steps to acquire the site extension. A report from him in the matter will be awaited.
