asked the Minister for Defence if he will give the current rates of pay and update the other information supplied in reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 273 of 15 April 1980 and 205 of 29 April 1980 with an estimate of the rates etc., which will come into effect with the second phase of the national understanding.

General.

The rates of basic pay, additional pay and allowances (other than allowances in respect of duties of a security nature) will fall to be increased with effect from 1 June 1981 in accordance with the terms of the second phase of the agreement on pay policy provided for in the second national understanding.
