Vol. 327 No. 10

Written Answers. - Portrane (Dublin) School.

338.

asked the Minister for Education whether his Department has been asked to sanction the carrying out of improvement works at Portrane Boy's national school, County Dublin; if so, the nature of such works; and when he envisages that these works will commence.

The chairman of the board of management of Portrane Boys' School has recently raised the question of a grant for the replacement of a boiler and also the need for a new toilet block at the school. The Commissioners of Public Works have been asked for a report and a recommendation. The question of sanction of grants will be considered when this report is available.
