asked the Minister for the Environment the reasons for the long delay in the payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary.

There has been no undue delay in this case. My Department are awaiting notification that the work has been completed.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reasons a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary has not yet received his house improvement grant.

Two payable orders in payment of reconstruction and sewerage grants issued to the person named in July 1979 and were cashed on 21 August 1979.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reasons for the non-payment of a house improvement grant to reduce dependence on oil to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary.

This grant was paid on 25 September 1980.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have a house improvement grant paid to an applicant (details supplied) in County Cork.

There is no record in the Department of a current application from the person named but a reconstruction grant of £150 was paid to him in May 1977.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have the £1,000 new house grant paid to an applicant (details supplied) in County Cork.

The applicant has not notified my Department that the house is fully complete and that she is in occupation. However, an inspection will be carried out as soon as possible to establish if payment of the grant is in order.

400.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware that the receipts requested by his Department have now been submitted by a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who applied for a home improvement grant; and when the grant will be paid.

The necessary receipts were received in my Department on 6 March 1981 and arrangements are now being made to have the grant paid.
