asked the Minister for Agriculture when a fencing grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

An application for grant aid in respect of this work has not been received in the Farm Development Service.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when grants under the sheep subsidy scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Payment will be made within the next two weeks.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Galway will be paid the cattle headage grant.

Payment of this herd owner's cattle headage grant will be made within two weeks.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in the payment of a headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

This grant was paid on 6 March. The herd owner declared an "off-farm" occupation and before making the payment it was necessary to determine his eligibility to participate in the scheme.

With the permission of the Ceann-Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 235 and 236 together.

Payment was made on 13 February in both of these cases.

This grant was paid on 16 March. The herd owner declared an "off-farm" occupation and before making the payment it was necessary to determine his eligibility to participate in the scheme.
