asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in the payment of a sheep headage grant to a person (details supplied) in South West Cork; and whether he will make arrangements for payment.

This grant was paid on 27 March. The delay which occurred was due to administrative problems arising in large part from the protracted negotiations with the EEC on improved terms and conditions for the headage schemes.
