The proposed scheme of improvements at Ballynass pier provides for: (a) erection of public lighting; (b) erection of leading lights to mark the inner channel; (c) refurbishing of existing timber structure and rebridging of gap between timber structure and pier; (d) provision of ladders and mooring rings; (e) removal of stones and gravel from berths; (f) pointing of masonry on berthage face of pier; (g) raising deck level of pier by the provision of a reinforced concrete slab.
