Vol. 328 No. 6

Written Answers. - Intermediate Certificate Issue.

383.

asked the Minister for Education if he will issue an intermediate certificate to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin setting out the usual details in respect of the subjects taken and the grades obtained.

There is no record in my Department of the candidate referred to by the Deputy having sat for the intermediate certificate examination in 1978. A candidate of that name and examination number did sit the examination in 1979. A certificate of results was sent to her school as is the normal practice. The school has confirmed that the certificate was forwarded to the candidate at the time. Duplicate certificates are not issued. However, a statement of results may be obtained from the Examinations Branch, Athlone, on payment of the appropriate fee of £2.
