asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an appeal from persons (details supplied) in Skerries, County Dublin, in regard to the condition of a local authority house at the time they purchased it.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 451 and 452 together.
I have received a valid application under section 13 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1979, for a determination as to whether the house in question was in good structural condition when ownership of the house was transferred by Dublin County Council. An inspection of the house will be made shortly by one of my Department's inspectors and, on receipt of his report, a determination in the matter will issue.
