asked the Minister for the Environment if a subvention of £25,905 has been paid in respect of increased pipe sizes for the Elly Bay group water scheme, Ballina, County Mayo.

I have approved of a special contribution of £25,905 by Mayo County Council to the Elly Bay group water scheme in respect of increased pipe sizes. It is for the council to submit a borrowing proposal for this amount to my Department.

465.

asked the Minister for the Environment the current position in regard to the proposed sewerage system for Annagry village, County Donegal.

Having regard to the need to conserve available capital for schemes of the highest priority, I am not in a position to say when I can convey a decision to the local authority in relation to the contract documents for this scheme which are at present under consideration in my Department.
