Merchant Shipping Bill, 1981: Order for Second Stage.

Bill entitled an Act to enable effect to be given to an international Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea signed in London on the 1st day of November, 1974, to amend and extend the Merchant Shipping Acts, 1894 to 1979, and for purpose connected therewith.

I move: "That the Second Stage be ordered for Tuesday, 5 May, subject to the agreement of the Whips."

In what way is Deputy Kelly's remark out of order in view of the fact that the Ceann Comhairle communicated to Deputy Boland the fact that he had information from the Taoiseach about his intentions in regard to the question of having——
