Vol. 328 No. 8

Written Answers. - County Donegal Turbary.

163.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when his Department will divide their turf bogs on the Pettigo/Laghey Road, County Donegal, among the local farmers.

The turbary in question comprises rights over some 12 hectares and is at present let on a yearly basis to 14 parties. Most of the turf has by now been cut out and in the circumstances it is not proposed to allot the bog on a permanent basis but to continue the lettings until the turf has been completely cut away.
