The local postmaster has been asked to provide continuous service but he has difficulties in arranging this and it is not possible to say at this stage when it will be available.

Service for this applicant is dependent on the provision of extensive linework. Because of the volume of engineering work requiring attention in the district it is unlikely that it will be possible to provide service for at least a year.

Service at Oranmore exchange to which the subscribers in the area are connected is less than satisfactory due to congestion on the route to Galway. Some additional circuits to Galway were provided recently and arrangements to provide the further additional quantities needed are in hands.
