A trial arrangement was entered into with the firm concerned in accordance with which they received consignments of waste from the Stationery Office during the period 2 February 1981 to 6 March 1981. On the latter date it was decided by the Stationery Office to terminate the arrangement and to retrieve the balance of the waste material that remained on the firm's premises. The firm subsequently submitted a claim for the loss of production and so on, while the material was being reloaded. Legal advice is being obtained as to the admissibility of the firm's claim.
