Vol. 330 No. 1

Written Answers. - Eastern Health Board Employee.

456.

asked the Minister for Health why an employee of the Eastern Health Board (details supplied) in County Meath who was employed on a temporary basis was let go with effect from 13 October 1981 in view of the letter of 28 April 1980 from her predecessor which indicated that the Eastern Health Board had informed him that she was on the permanent staff; and if she will arrange to have her reinstated.

The employee concerned was, after a period of temporary employment, permanently appointed by the Eastern Health Board subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period. The question of the satisfactory completion of her probationary period has yet to be determined.
