asked the Minister for Education the position regarding an application from Donegal Vocational Educational Committee in relation to the erection of a sports hall at Raphoe comprehensive school, County Donegal.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 558 and 559 together.
My Department have been in contact recently with the school authorities for Royal and Prior Comprehensive School and with the vocational education committee in connection with Raphoe Vocational School regarding the question of the arrangements which might be considered adequate in connection with the teaching of physical education at these schools. Specific proposals from both school authorities are awaited.
