Vol. 330 No. 10

Written Answers. - County Cork School.

275.

asked the Minister for Education when work on the proposed new school at Ballygiblin, County Cork will commence.

276.

asked the Minister for Education the date on which the proposed new school at Ballygiblin, Mitchelstown, County Cork will go to tender.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 275 and 276 together.

A grant has been sanctioned towards the cost of the proposed new national school at Ballygiblin, County Cork. I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that work is to commence at an early date on the preparation of working drawings. As tenders cannot be invited until the working drawings and a bill of quantities are completed it is not yet possible to say when building may commence.
