Telephone service was transferred to the new subscriber on 18 September 1981 and his initial quarterly telephone account will issue in normal course, shortly.

An amended telephone account for the former subscriber will issue within a fortnight or so.

Records are not, I regret, maintained in a form that would enable this information to be obtained readily and its compilation would involve a disproportionate amount of staff time. It may be taken, however, that the total numbers involved are quite small in relation to the numbers who were offered service.
