Vol. 331 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Offaly School Grant.

22.

asked the Minister for Finance the up-to-date position in relation to the payment of a grant in respect of work carried out approximately two years ago at Clonlisk national school, Shinrone, County Offaly.

Vouchers covering the cost of the installation of an electrical heating system at Clonlisk national school, County Offaly, were received in the Office of Public Works in February 1981. On examination, the installation was found to be unsatisfactory in certain respects and the reverend chairman of the board of management has been asked to have the defects remedied. He was asked also to submit vouchers for work stated to have been carried out to the electric lighting. A reply is awaited.

The first instalment of grant has been paid and further payment is being arranged.
