Vol. 331 No. 1

Written Answers. - Disused Railway Line.

682.

andMr. G. Brady asked the Minister for Transport if he is aware of any plans to use the now disused railway line between Harcourt Street and Dundrum, Dublin, for any type of public or private transport; and if he will ask the local authorities concerned to clear the rubbish which is now accumulating on the track and adjoining banks.

CIE have been asked to examine the possibility of providing bus services as far as Dundrum on a busway built on the alignment of the former Harcourt Street/Bray railway line. I expect to receive a submission from CIE in the matter shortly.
